The ICF defines mentor coaching as providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the coaching competency levels demanded by the desired credential level sought by a coach‐applicant (mentee).
Furthermore, mentor coaching means an applicant (mentee) receives coaching on their coaching skills rather than coaching on practise building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant’s coaching skills.

- To receive mentoring from an ICF Registered Mentor Coach who is a PCC with over 20 years of coaching experience.

- In the mentor coaching sessions, the focus would be to assess your coaching skills and manage the coaching process and the use of the demonstrated ICF coaching competencies.

ICF Mentoring Program Packages
The mentor coaching packages include:
- Seven (7) hours of group mentoring sessions
- Three (3) hours of 1-1 mentoring sessions
Package 1
Mentor Coaching for ACC
Program Outline:
- This package is for those applying for the ICF Credential at the ACC Level. The requirement is the completion of the 60 hours of coach-specific training by an ICF-approved provider
- We include the review of two recorded coaching conversations with real clients (submit with permission from client)
- Preparation for the CKA exam.
Package 2
Mentor Coaching for PCC
Program Outline:
- Review of ICF Competencies and requirements for the exam
- Preparation and the coaching process help you deepen your internal processes and understanding of self in the choice of questions asked to support the client in
